Hikmet Hajiyev, the assistant to the President of Azerbaijan, in his Twitter microblog claimed that Armenia had hit the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan gas pipeline with cluster bombs, attaching photos as evidence.
It is noteworthy that the photo published by Haijiyev shows the same Israeli M095 DPICM cluster bombs that Azerbaijan used against the civilian population of Stepanakert. Let us remind you that the authoritative Amnesty International stated that the organization's experts were able to identify that the capital of Artsakh, Stepanakert, was bombed with Israeli-made cluster bombs, while those bombs are prohibited by international law.
It should be emphasized that these missile systems and ammunition are available in the arsenal of Azerbaijan. Armenia has not bought such weapons from Israel.
Amnesty International also noted that Azerbaijan had reported the shelling of its second-largest city, Ganja, as well as other settlements, but that its photo and video evidence did not yet indicate a specific targeting, as well as whether there are cluster munitions in the missile warheads or not.
